More Information About Our Learning Center Units
- Each of our learning center units has the same organization plan. Read and print them using Adobe's Acrobat Reader.
- The TEACHER'S GUIDE lists the parts of the center, how to set it up, and explains the grading system.
- The STUDENT GUIDE lists the parts of the center and how the work will be graded.
- The PHOTOCOPYING SCHEDULE lists how many of each task are to be printed, which task cards are to be shared, and which tasks can be placed at an area for all to share and do not need to be printed separately.
- The TASK LIST for each unit contains the names and page numbers of the Tasks, the Reading Task Cards, and the Information Cards. The tasks can be completed in any order.
- The TASK DESCRIPTIONS give a thumbnail view of the work to be done.
- The INFORMATION CARDS are needed for some tasks.
- The READING TASK CARDS are short passages with questions. You may want to add your own.
- ACCOUNTABILITY for the units is accomplished with a grid or an Excel worksheet. This allows students to keep track of their progress.
